NHS Medway Clinical Commissioning Group has a responsibility to ensure it is engaging widely with patients and the public to inform plans, improvements and decisions about commissioned healthcare services. We are working to put our people at the heart of everything we do and we are committed to making the government’s vision of ‘no decision about me without me’ a reality in Medway. But with ever increasing demands on our healthcare services, alongside a limited financial budget, we face a challenging future. We need local people to play a role in helping us to commission services that best meet their needs.
We will be engaging with the community in a variety of ways and will detail any focus groups, engagement events and surveys that you can participate in here.
We would like to encourage you to share your experiences of healthcare – good or bad. Don’t wait to be asked! Share your experiences at www.patientopinion.org.uk or call 0800 122 3135.
Patient Opinion was founded in 2005 and since then has grown to be the UK’s leading independent non-profit feedback platform for health services. Patient Opinion is about honest and meaningful conversations between patients and health services.
The CCG will be using Patient Opinion to seek feedback on specific services throughout the year – we will do this by promoting this on our website and writing to GPs and Providers to ask them to support us in specific engagement work by sharing information with patients and asking them to feed back.
